Thursday, October 16th is going to be a great day for those 55 years old and older throughout the Oil Belt Camp area. It will be our Sr. Adult Day! Please help us spread the word and encourage everyone you can to attend.
Our theme comes from
Psalms 71:14-21
We are challenged to
“Declare God’s Power to the Next Generation”.
Our guest speaker this year is David Upchurch. David is a retired minister of 34 years serving in four different churches in Illinois and Kentucky. David also served on the board of a mission organization called ACM International for 25 years and has traveled to several countries in Africa, as well as Afghanistan, Cambodia, Thailand, Haiti, and Mexico.
Music will be by, Tricia Cater. She was born into a musical family and grew up as a preacher's kid. Her family traveled and sang at revivals, camps, and events. At the age of 4 Tricia was part of the first album made by the Hetrick Family recorded in Flora, IL at Crusade Enterprises. Tricia attended Lincoln Christian College, where she met her husband Tom, and graduated with a degree in piano. In 2010 Tricia graduated with her Master's Degree in Worship Studies from Lincoln Christian Seminary. Tom and Tricia have ministered together for 39 years in various ministries in Illinois and a church plant in Connecticut. Tricia has been blessed to be a part-time Worship Minister in four of those ministries (and serve as a volunteer in others). Tom has been the pastor at Little Prairie Christian Church for 16 years where Tricia serves as the Director of Worship Ministry.
