MEN'S NIGHT

February 6, 2026

Our theme this year is Messy Grace: Bridging the Tension of Truth and Grace.  Bridging that tension can be difficult, especially when culture meets scripture. When boldly and courageously proclaimed, the powerful combination of grace and truth, helps to transform lives for Jesus Christ.

Caleb Kaltenbach will be our speaker this year. He is one of the pastors at Shepherd Church in Los Angeles, the same church Dudley Rutherford was with a few years ago. Caleb is also an author who has written several books, including Messy Grace. He regularly speaks on faith, biblical sexuality and gender, and ministry systems. A graduate of Ozark Christian College and Talbot School of Theology, Caleb received his doctorate from Dallas Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Amy, have two teenagers and reside in Southern California.

If you’ve not heard of Caleb, he has a powerful testimony of growing up in a household with LGBTQ+ parents.  He has firsthand experienced how Christians witnessed to him and his family, and also experienced other Christians shaming his family. It will be a great night to help us learn how we can better share the gospel with those in our families, friends, workplaces, and schools.

The doors open at 5:00 pm and the meal will be served from 5:30 to 6:30 pm. We know it is not easy for everyone to get here by 5:30 pm, so there will be plenty! The worship team from Cornerstone Christian Church in Effingham, IL, will begin at 7:00 pm. An offering to benefit the camp will be received during the worship time.  Caleb Kaltenbach will then share with us, and we will conclude the evening by 8:30 pm.

New This Year

SATURDAY SESSIONS

(For Men & Women)

With LGBTQ+ being a topic that churches have been desiring to grow in, Caleb Kaltenbach will be leading a seminar at Kinmundy Christian Church on the morning of Saturday February 7, 2026.  We will start the sessions at 9:00 am and conclude with a lunch at 12:15 pm.

Saturday’s event is FREE with the purchase of a Men’s Night ticket.

You will need to select the additional ticket on Eventbrite when registering.

Saturday’s sessions are available to anyone men or women.

So if you aren’t available Friday night, you can still attend Saturday’s sessions!

The cost for Saturday’s sessions is $20 and the ticket for that is available on Eventbrite as well. See link at bottom of page to register! Pre-Register by January 30th to help us with meal numbers!

Here are the sessions Caleb will be sharing on Saturday:

  •       Building a foundation of Grace and Truth in difficult conversations
  •       Finding balance on bridges and boundaries
  •       Communication skills for difficult conversations
  •       Q & A Session

Caleb will also be preaching at Kinmundy Christian Church on Sunday the 8th.  So, there will be many opportunities to learn and grow from his teaching.

We are thankful to Kinmundy Christian Church for partnering with Oil Belt this year to provide messages from Caleb.  He spoke at Christ’s Church in Effingham a few years ago and it was tremendous.
