2024 Mission Trip Information
We’ve partnered with Casas
Por Cristo, a mission that has been around for a long time. Below is a quick note from one of the trip
leaders, Lesa Shilling. Lesa and her husband Daniel serve at Little Prairie
Christian Church in Albion. They’ve been
faculty at camp many times and also help oversee Mission 3 Academy, a Christian
school in Albion. We know they’ll do a
great job leading this mission trip.
Hey Church!
We wanted
to reach out and express the heart behind the Oil Belt Teen Mission Trip! You
will find an info form in this letter which gives more details about the trip,
but we want to take a moment and explain how we could use your help!
Mission
trips have the power to change lives, and the ripple effect of that includes a
greater impact for the Kingdom. We believe every person should have the
opportunity to experience an international mission trip, and persons of every
age will be affected if they go on a trip, but we also believe the sooner a
person encounters missions at this level, the better.
We also
realize that some churches are not currently able to offer mission trips for
teens for a number of reasons, so Oil Belt wants to bridge that gap. We are
excited for any student who can go on the trip, but we are especially praying
for any student who would not be able to do a trip like this without outside
resources. Please help us encourage those students to step out in faith and
pray about joining the Oil Belt team on this mission journey.
Thanks in
advance for all the ways you are working to build God’s kingdom, and please
reach out if we can help your students discern God’s leading about this mission
trip opportunity! May God bless you and your ministries!
