Registration Process for 2026  


FACULTY INFORMATION AND FORMS


We have a new Faculty & Jr. Faculty registration process this year. We are using CampBrain to process all faculty and faulty childern this year. If you have registered a camper or as a camper for camp, you will be familiar with this process and most of your information will already be entered for your household.  Please follow the step below to complete your registration process. 


Step 1 - 3 are to review camp rules, expectations, and our statement of faith. You will acknowledge that you have read, understand and will follow these in your actual registration.

 

STEP 1:

Please click on the Summer Camp Rules link below to review the rules that faculty and campers will follow while at camp. Once you open this page scroll to the bottom of the page where the Summer Camp Rules are located. You will acknowledge that you have read and will follow these rules when you register for your week(s) of camp on CampBrain.

STEP 2:

Please click on the Faculty Handbook of Expectations 2026 link below to review the expectation of faculty while at camp. You will acknowledge that you have read and will follow these expectations when you register for your week(s) of camp on CampBrain.

STEP 3:

Please click on our Statement of Faith link below to review Oil Belt's Statement of Faith. You will acknowledge that you have read and believe in the same statement of faith and will follow this statement while volunteering with campers when you register for your week(s) of camp on CampBrain.

STEP 4: 

All Faculty 19 years old and older when working with youth are required by the State of Illinois to complete a background check.  Please click on the Background Check link below to complete the background check. You will acknowledge that you have completed this process when you register for your week(s) of camp on CampBrain.   

**The background check is good for 3 years. If your background check has not expired we will still have it on file. 

**Jr Faculty (18 and under) are not required to do a background check

STEP 5:  

All Faculty 19 years old and older when working with youth are required by the State of Illinois to complete Mandated Reporter Training. Please click on the Mandated Reporter Training link below to complete the Mandated Reporter Training. You will acknowledge that you have completed this process when you register for your week(s) of camp on CampBrain. Once your training is completed please email a copy of your certificate to campoffice@oilbelt.com

**This training is good for 3 years. If your training has not expired please just forward a copy of your certificate to campoffice@oilbelt.com

**Jr Faculty (18 and under) are not required to complete the State of Illinois Mandated Reporter Training

STEP 6: 

Once you have completed your State of Illinois Mandated Reporter Training, your signature is required on the State of Illinois Cants 22 form. This states that you will follow your Mandated Reporter Training. This does not need to be printed out and signed. It will be electronically gathered when you complete your faculty registration. 

** Jr Faculty (18 and under) are not required to acknowledge the Cants 22 form

STEP 7: 

Once you have reviewed the above rules and expectations and completed the necessary background check and training, please use our NEW registration process to sign up for the week(s) of camp you will be Faculty or Jr Faculty!

***Please make sure that everyone has been registered that will be attending Oil Belt with you at anytime during the week(s) of camp you will be faculty - all children of any age.
